Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC

Barry Krevokuch, MS, LPC, CAADC, CCS, CCTP

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I am committed to delivering counseling services in a manner that is both clinically ethical and legally compliant with applicable state laws, licensing board regulations (49 Pa. Code § 49.1–.93), and the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics.

Therapeutic Modalities

I utilize an eclectic, integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities and theoretical frameworks. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Humanistic and Client-Centered Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Informed Techniques (DBT-informed)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy-Informed Strategies (ACT-informed)

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy

  • Reality Therapy

  • Trauma-Informed and Somatic-Informed Approaches

All modalities are applied within the scope of my formal clinical training, post-graduate education, continuing education, and professional credentials. Where full certification is required to provide a complete protocol (e.g., DBT & ACT), I utilize these modalities in an informed manner only, and I clearly communicate limitations to clients.

Supportive Tools That May Be Clinical

In addition to core talk therapy modalities, I may incorporate supportive tools that enhance the therapeutic process, such as:

  • Mindfulness and breathwork

  • Grounding and visualization techniques

  • Music-informed tools (e.g., reflection, mood tracking)

  • Spiritually integrated conversations, when aligned with client goals

These approaches may be used clinically to support emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, and value-based processing. All tools are adapted to client interest & informed consent, comfort, compliments to evidenced-based practices, and the nature of the service.

The Holistic Side of Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC

I maintain clear boundaries between psychotherapy and any optional wellness services provided through other areas of my practice.

Boundaries Between Clinical and Holistic Practice

I maintain clear and transparent boundaries between my licensed clinical counseling services and any holistic wellness services offered through Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC. Clients are informed in writing when services fall outside the scope of clinical care, and no holistic services are ever billed to insurance or substituted for psychotherapy.

Affirmation

I affirm that all therapeutic approaches used within my practice are consistent with:

  • My current licensure and training

  • Best practices in trauma-informed care

  • ACA ethical standards

  • Pennsylvania licensing board regulations

I regularly review and update my scope of practice to reflect professional standards, credentialing requirements, and evolving ethical guidelines.
