Age Range
At this time, I offer counseling services exclusively to adults aged 18 and older. My license is in Pennsylvania, and I can only accept clients who reside within the state.
Approaches
My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that is uniquely suited to you—supporting healing, resilience, and growth in a way that resonates with your individual journey. Depending on your needs and preferences, I may integrate a variety of evidence-based and person-centered approaches. These methods are always discussed collaboratively and tailored to align with your goals, values, and worldview.
Here are some of the therapeutic approaches I draw from:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A widely researched approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. CBT helps clients build healthier thinking habits, develop coping strategies, and solve problems more effectively.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Explores how early experiences, unconscious processes, and relational patterns shape current behavior. This approach emphasizes insight, emotional awareness, and how the past influences present-day challenges.
Humanistic Therapy
Centers on personal growth, self-awareness, and authentic connection. Often using client-centered techniques, this approach emphasizes empathy, acceptance, and the belief in each person’s capacity for self-actualization.
DBT-informed Approach
I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed strategies to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. While I do not offer a full DBT program, these tools can help clients navigate intense emotions, improve coping skills, and strengthen interpersonal boundaries—all while balancing acceptance and change.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
A goal-oriented, strengths-based approach that emphasizes what’s working in your life. Rather than focusing on problems, SFBT highlights your inner resources and helps map out practical steps toward your preferred future.
ACT-informed Principles
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages acceptance of internal experiences—such as difficult thoughts or feelings—while building commitment to meaningful actions aligned with your values. I integrate ACT-based strategies into therapy, including mindfulness, values clarification, and techniques that support psychological flexibility.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Incorporates present-moment awareness practices to help you observe thoughts, sensations, and emotions with greater clarity and less reactivity. Mindfulness-based strategies can be powerful tools for managing stress, anxiety, and depression.
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
Aims to help individuals address shame, self-criticism, or trauma by cultivating self-compassion and a soothing emotional tone. This approach draws from neuroscience, attachment theory, and mindfulness practices.
Reality Therapy
Focuses on helping individuals take personal responsibility and align their choices with their goals and needs. Reality Therapy emphasizes realistic, present-focused problem-solving and enhancing meaningful connections.
Eclectic/Integrative Therapy
I take an integrative approach, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to support your unique needs. Therapy is never one-size-fits-all—it evolves with you.
Somatic-Informed Therapy
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I integrate body-based awareness into sessions, especially when working with trauma. This somatic-informed approach gently supports clients in noticing physical sensations connected to emotional experiences, allowing for deeper processing and nervous system regulation. All methods are adapted with sensitivity and respect for your comfort.
Music-Informed Tools (Non-Therapeutic)
While I am not a board-certified music therapist, music may be gently incorporated into sessions as a supportive element—such as using music for grounding, reflection, or mood tracking. These tools are not delivered as formal music therapy and are only used with client interest and consent.
Spiritually Integrated or Transpersonal Approaches (Optional)
For clients who desire it, I offer the option to explore meaning, intuition, archetypes, and spiritual themes in therapy. This work is always client-led and ethically aligned with your personal worldview. I maintain clear boundaries between clinical counseling and any holistic wellness services offered through other areas of my practice.
These therapeutic approaches may be integrated depending on your preferences, goals, and clinical needs. Not all modalities are used with every client. If you are interested in a specific approach, we can explore together whether it aligns with your goals and falls within the scope of my training and practice.

I am only able to provide services to clients who are physically located in Pennsylvania at the time of our sessions, whether in-person or via telehealth.
Please note that I’m not currently in-network with UPMC or Highmark, which are common in this region. However, I’m happy to provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan offers that option.
Superbill
A superbill is a detailed receipt or invoice that a healthcare provider gives to a client (you) so they can submit it to their insurance company for possible reimbursement.
It is not a claim, but it contains all the necessary information for the client to file an out-of-network reimbursement request with their insurer.
What’s Included in a Superbill?
A proper superbill typically includes:
Provider Information
Name and credentials
NPI number
Tax ID (EIN)
Practice name and address
Contact information
Client Information
Full name
Date of birth
Insurance ID (optional)
Session Details
Date(s) of service
CPT codes (procedure codes for a therapy session)
ICD-10 codes (diagnosis codes)
Fee for each service
Amount paid by the client (if applicable)
Provider Signature (may be digital)
When Do You Use a Superbill?
When a provider (us) is out-of-network for a client’s insurance plan.
When a client (you) wants to try to get reimbursed by their insurance on their own.
