At Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC, all holistic services are offered by Barry Krevokuch, Mhs. M, an integrative wellness practitioner with over 18 years of experience in the healing arts.
A Clear Distinction for Transparency:
These holistic offerings are supported by a separate set of credentials from those required for clinical mental health licensure. In the interest of transparency and ethical clarity:
Clinical credentials (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, CAADC, Etc.) are used exclusively for psychotherapy and insured counseling services.
Holistic credentials are obtained through institutions and training programs that include non-secular, metaphysical, or spiritually-oriented teachings. These organizations operate outside the scope of state licensure boards but are recognized within complementary wellness and personal development fields.
Having both secular clinical licensure and non-secular holistic certifications reflects a deeper commitment to hold space for healing across psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Each path informs the other—with clear ethical boundaries maintained—so that individuals can receive the support that best fits their values, beliefs, and personal growth journey.

My mission is to support others on their journey of healing, self-discovery, and empowerment by offering holistic services such as workshops, intuitive coaching, and spiritual guidance. Through compassionate presence and integrative practices, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can reconnect with their inner wisdom, explore their spiritual path, and experience meaningful transformation.
IMPA Code of Ethics
As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a holistic wellness practitioner, I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical integrity in all areas of my work. While my clinical services follow the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics, the following Code of Ethics applies specifically to the non-clinical, holistic side of my practice. It is adapted in whole from the guidelines established by the International Metaphysical Practitioners Association (IMPA). This ethical framework reflects my commitment to professionalism, respect, informed choice, and the well-being of every individual I serve, whether in a spiritual, educational, or integrative context.
To protect the clarity and integrity of both roles, all holistic services are conducted separately from clinical counseling. This includes the use of distinct documentation, informed consent processes, and service goals. Holistic services are not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment and are offered solely for personal growth, spiritual exploration, or integrative wellness.

EMPA Code of Ethics
As a holistic practitioner and member of the Energy Medicine Professional Association (EMPA), I am committed to upholding a professional Code of Ethics that reflects compassion, transparency, and personal integrity. I practice in alignment with EMPA’s ethical standards, which emphasize honoring client autonomy, maintaining clear boundaries, and providing services within the scope of my training and experience. My intention is to offer a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for energy-based and spiritual self-exploration. I refer out when concerns fall outside of my scope, and I fully respect each client’s right to make informed choices about their own healing journey.
