"Embrace the shadows; in therapy, we guide you to understand that they hold the keys to your strength, not your fears."

Barry Krevokuch, M.S., LPC, CAADC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (PC015130) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC) in Pennsylvania, bringing 18 years of experience in assisting clients with addiction recovery, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and navigating life transitions. I view life from a spiritual perspective, believing that we are all on a unique journey and are the experts of our own narratives. My goal is to help you recognize the strengths you possess that can aid in overcoming your challenges. It's very brave to pursue a deep commitment to the 'self', and I am here to provide support and empower you as you take that leap toward consistent change.

In my practice, I embrace an eclectic approach to therapy, which allows us to explore a wide range of methodologies tailored to your specific needs. Our sessions may include established evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as supportive psychotherapy to provide a strong foundation for our work together. Additionally, I may integrate creative techniques and spiritual elements of self-exploration to foster a deeper understanding of yourself and facilitate personal growth. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that is uniquely suited to you, promoting healing and resilience in a way that resonates with your individual journey.

Integrative Wellness Tools

“Evidence-based counseling with space for spiritual exploration.”

In addition to evidence-based therapy, we offer optional spiritual, metaphysical, and holistic tools for clients who are interested in incorporating mind–body–spirit elements into their healing process. These tools are always used with consent and within the ethical boundaries of clinical care.

Some examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Oracle and symbolism cards (for guided reflection and insight)

  • Crystal use (as grounding or symbolic tools in mindfulness)

  • Guided meditations or affirmations

  • Journaling and ritual prompts

  • Energy or chakra-based self-awareness activities (non-diagnostic)

We respect each client’s worldview and beliefs. These spiritual tools are never required in therapy—they are simply offered as creative options when appropriate and welcome. Our core approach remains grounded in clinical, evidence-based practice.

Our Commitment When Integrating Spiritual Tools:

We use metaphysical tools as symbolic supports—not as diagnostic tools. We always seek informed consent and approach every session with respect for each person’s cultural background. Your comfort and preferences matter deeply to us, and we believe healing works best when it’s a collaborative journey. While we honor spiritual tools as part of that process, evidence-based therapy will always remain at the heart of what we do.

Why a Red/Black Theme?

At Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC, our choice of red and black as theme colors is deeply rooted in their spiritual significance, representing the essence of our therapy and the experience we aim to provide.

The color red symbolizes passion, energy, and intensity. It embodies the fiery determination and courage to explore the depths of the unknown. In the realm of spirituality, red is associated with the root chakra, representing stability, grounding, and our connection to the physical world. By incorporating red into our theme, we aim to ignite the inner fire within our clients, empowering them to embrace their individual journey with vitality and vigor.

Black, on the other hand, embodies mystery, introspection, and the depths of the subconscious. It represents the hidden realms, the unseen possibilities, and the veil between the physical and spiritual dimensions. In spirituality, black is often associated with the crown chakra, symbolizing transcendence and spiritual enlightenment. By incorporating black into our theme, we invite our clients to explore the mysteries of the unseen, encouraging introspection, and the exploration of profound spiritual insights.

By combining the energies of red and black, we aim to create a transformative experience where passion meets the unknown, where the grounding roots of the physical world intertwine with the realm of the spirit. Our theme colors serve as a visual representation of the dynamic synergy between these elements, beckoning individuals to embark on a journey of self-discovery, spiritual growth, and profound exploration.

We believe that by embracing the spiritual significance of red and black, we cultivate an atmosphere where individuals feel empowered to dive into the depths of their being, expand their consciousness, and ultimately unlock their fullest potential.
